Origin and Background:
- Glory Bea, sired by Chatos Shadow and out of Mountain Mist, is a full sibling to Bratley, or Shadow Mountain Spirit, my personal riding horse.
- Knowing how much Bratley meant to me, the late Sharron Schikofsky regretted his gelding.
- Propagating this particular bloodline has been a long-held desire of mine, as a way to honor Bratley.
- When Dave Reynolds, Sharron’s partner, decided to downsize his herd this winter and offered me a couple of his remaining SMR mares, I was truly honored.
